Review: Hansaegee Nature Leaders Clinic Clinie Facial Mask

Cellulose Mask Sheet

What I like about this product:
The essence of the mask is very concentrated. My skin feels soft and bouncy, especially after using Collagen Infusion Essential Mask. I love the cellulose mask sheet as it adheres to my face really well. The price of this mask is quite reasonable.

What I dislike about this product:
The essence of the mask makes my skin feels sticky after I remove the mask. I have to wipe of the excess with a piece of tissue paper and pat it to dry (which takes quite a while).

Price: RM10.90 for a mask from the Special Care Line, RM8.90 for a mask from the Intensive Care Line

Overall rating: 2.8/5

Review: Biore Makeup Remover For Eye & Lip

Hi beautiful readers! Kao is generous enough to send me a bottle of Biore Make Up Remover for me to review.

Importance of having a good makeup remover for eye and lip
The eyes and lips are the focus of modern makeup techniques that use multiple layers of heavy makeup such as waterproof mascara, waterproof eyeliner, glitter eye shadow and fake lashes as well as lip balm, lipstick and lip gloss to achieve stunning looks. When removing makeup, it is important to use a effective and specialised makeup remover to avoid rubbing, wiping and tugging as all these actions will cause premature wrinkles and broken capillaries around the eyes. Besides that, excessively rubbing will cause lashes to fall even before they reach their full lengths. If you're wondering why your lashes are always so short, it could be because you rub your eyes too much.

What I like about this product?
Biore Makeup Remover effectively softens and lifts off traces of heavily-layered makeup. Though after wiping, there are still traces of eyeliner in between my lashes, I am very pleased with the way the Makeup Remover removes my eye makeup. It is easy to use, feels pleasantly light and leaves no oily residue. It does not have any distinctive scent to it which may be irritating to certain users. It is also very gentle and mild on skin, even in the eyes. So if you accidentally get some into your eyes while wiping, you do not have to worry that your eyes will be blood shot.

After

What I dislike about this product?
Biore Makeup Remover does not dissolve lash glue as well as Biore Cleansing Oil does. In comparison with the Biore Cleansing Oil, the Makeup Remover is more expensive. 130ml of Biore Makeup Remover costs RM29.90. With lesser money (can't remember how much though), you can get 150ml of Biore Cleansing Oil. Unlike the Cleansing Oil, the Makeup Remover can't be used in the shower.

Price: RM29.90.

Available at: AEON Wellness, Caring Pharmacy, Guardian, JUSCO, SASA, Watsons.

Will I buy this product again?
So long as Biore Cleansing Oil is in the market, probably not.

Here is a video review of Biore Makeup Remover and Biore Cleansing Oil. This is the first time I share my video outside of Youtube. Do support my Youtube channel. There are still a lot of room for improvement. I hate the way I talk in my videos. I may sound very pretentious with the accent (I don't normally talk like that), but it is something that bugs me too! So don't hate on me. The accent comes out very naturally once the camera is set up in front of me. I am trying so hard to talk like how I normally do.

Review: Revlon ColorStay Liquid Foundation

This is a product I had always wanted to try out. I finally got it before Orientation Ball as I needed a new foundation.

I have two shades of the foundation, 180 Sand Beige and 310 Warm Golden. Sand Beige is just one shade lighter than Warm Golden. You can't really see the difference from the picture but when I apply it on my face, it makes a lot of difference, Warm Golden is way too dark for me.

What I like about this product?
It complements my skin very well. It looks natural and is not cakey. It looks more as if I have better skin than have a foundation over my face. I love its amazing coverage I don't have to use concealer after applying it, unless I have really bad dark eye circles or any pimple scar. It says that it can last up to 16 hours. I am not too sure whether this is true, but it definitely lasts long. It is specially for people who have combination/oily skin. I have oily combination skin. With normal foundation on, I have to blot my face around 2 hours after application. With this foundation I can run around and not worry about my foundation melting. However, I still have to blot my face if I am wearing it for the whole day, but not as many times as when I use some other foundation though. It is not tacky and very lightweight.

What I dislike about this product?
It doesn't come with a pump and this makes it very hard to control the amount of product I use every time. Besides, it also has a very strange smell and the smell stays quite long on my face. However, I am sure that other people cannot smell it unless that person's nose is just one inch away from your face, and it does go away after a while. Another thing about this product is it doesn't blend very well, it gets kind of streaky. This does not bother me too much though, I just have to spend more time blending it. It dries very fast, but I think has something to do its formula that makes it suitable for combination/oily skin. It is quite pricey for a drugstore brand cosmetic.

Price: Can't remember, it is around RM55, one of most expensive drugstore brand foundation. I will check the price out and post it up here soon.

Will I buy this product again?
Yes. It has become one of my must-have items.

Review: Biore Cleansing Oil

That day when I was doing my last minute shopping in Mid Valley, I decided to pick up a bottle of Biore Cleansing Oil. I have seen quite a lot of advertisements of this product and so I wanted to give it a try.

I use waterproof mascara and eyeliner everyday so it is very important for me to get a really good makeup remover so that I don't rub my eyes to much when removing them to avoid getting premature wrinkles. The skin around my eyes are bad enough because I rub my eyes quite a lot. :(

I use olive oil as my makeup remover all this while because besides the fact that it is 100% natural and moisturizing, it also doesn't irritate my eyes if it accidentally gets into my eyes. I have pretty sensitive eyes and they get bloodshot easily. And also, olive oil is MUCH cheaper compared to any of the makeup removers in the market.

What I like about this product:
As it is stated there, it effectively removes long-lasting makeup. It is definitely a better eye makeup remover than olive oil. I don't have to rub it as much as I do when I use olive oil. It works well even in the shower, and this is not something a normal oil-based makeup remover can do. It can be removed very easily just by rinsing with water and doesn't make your skin sticky like how normally those creamy makeup removers would. It also dissolves lash glue quite well. Besides, it is very affordable.

What I don't like about this product:
I hate it when it gets into my eyes. I am pretty clumsy and don't have the patient to be gentle with my eyes. The first time I used this product, some of it got into my eyes and my eyes was bloodshot for the WHOLE following day and the worst part is I could not do anything about it. I don't blame it for making my eyes red, it is not supposed to be in my eyes after all, but I would like it more if it didn't irritate my eyes so badly. It is stated there if the product gets into your eyes, rinse immediately with water. So just be careful when you're rubbing the mascara off your lashes.

Price: RM18.40 from Watson

Will I buy this product again?
Yes.
